The State of Firestone authentication system (“Auth System”) is used to securely verify members of the State of Firestone Roblox group and provide access to related services, including the State of Firestone dashboard, Discord server, and Discourse forum. By using this system, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

• Roblox Authentication Data: Your Roblox user ID, username, and basic public profile data (collected securely through Roblox OAuth).
• Discord Account Information (Optional): If you choose to link your Discord account, we collect your Discord user ID and username (via Discord OAuth).
• Session Data: Technical session tokens/cookies required for login (managed securely through NextAuth).

We do not intentionally collect your IP address or your Roblox/Discord passwords. However, server logs may automatically capture IP addresses for security and diagnostic purposes, and these are retained only as needed.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticating your Roblox account to grant access to the dashboard.
• Providing single sign-on (SSO) access to the State of Firestone Discourse forum.
• Managing Discord server access and permissions when you link your Discord account.
• Maintaining secure sessions through NextAuth.

3. Data Storage and Sharing

• All collected information is stored securely in our database.
• Data is not shared with third parties.
• Access to stored information is restricted to authorized developers of the Auth System and group administrators.
• We do not sell, rent, or disclose your personal information.

4. Security

• Encrypted database storage of sensitive information.
• Limited access controls for developers and admins.
• Use of NextAuth for secure session handling and authentication.

Despite these protections, no system is completely immune from risks, and you use the Auth System at your own discretion.

5. Your Rights

• Request access to view the information we have collected about you.
• Request correction or updates to inaccurate data.
• Request complete deletion of your Auth System account, which will also remove your linked data.
• Opt-out of certain data processing activities (subject to legal obligations to retain data for account security).

6. Data Transfer and Ownership Changes

In the event of a change in ownership, management, or control of the State of Firestone Auth System or organization, your personal data may be transferred to the new owner or operator. Any such transfer will be conducted under the same privacy protections and obligations outlined in this Privacy Policy. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of any material changes to our data handling practices resulting from such a transfer. By continuing to use this service after such notification, you consent to the transfer of your data under these terms.

7. Children's Privacy

The Auth System is intended for Roblox users. If you are under 13, you must have parental or guardian consent to use this service, in compliance with Roblox's Terms of Service.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted, and continued use of the Auth System means you accept the revised terms.
